→ A Tree Grows in Oxford (city hall) – Here’s a picture of a tree (sweet gum, we think) Scottie Croy removed from the second floor gutter of city hall last week. Even a Tree City cannot have trees growing out of the city hall!

George Street Park – Beryl Budd prepared a map of George Street Park for the Tree Board with all the trees labeled and identified. I have attached a copy.

→ Oxford College Community Classroom – This Fall we will be hosting four community lectures as part of the Oxford College Community Classroom. If you want to mark your calendar, all the lectures will be from 4 PM until 5 PM. The lectures are scheduled for Tuesday, October 14; Tuesday, October 21; Tuesday, November 11; and Tuesday, November 18.
