→ Elections – We have our city elections this November. Lauran Willis maintained her Municipal election Certification by attending a class in Macon on Wednesday last week. Also, last week, Stacey Mullen attended class Monday through Wednesday and successfully completed the test so now she is also certified. This makes it possible for us to conduct our own elections. Stacey’s certificate is attached.
→ Fletcher Street Right-of-Way – Using the bobcat with the bush hog attachment, we trimmed some of the right-of-way along Fletcher Street. Along the way, we uncovered the historic marker for the Capers Dickson House.
→ Fish Fry – Former Mayor Ballard and his family had a fish fry for the city employees on Thursday this week.
