→ At city hall, we had an eclipse viewing party. We were joined by the staff from Tony L. Blair, P.C.
 
→ As part of our capital budget, we are replacing utility poles, wires, and switches along Wesley Street and W Richardson Street. We are happy to report that the project is nearing its end, and should be completed in the next two to three weeks.
→ Last week, Allen Memorial hosted a picnic to welcome incoming students. The city participated in the event by sharing information about Oxford with the students.
→ Frances Redick is September’s Councilmember of the Month. She was nominated by Councilmember Mike Ready. Currently, she works as the Vice President of Peoples Bank.
